At Wilton, we are an established, family-run, new residence painting company with a major focus on quality customer service. We have a total of 60 staff and contractors on the team - and we are still growing. We are based in Hamilton and work throughout the Waikato region.

For us, success is achieved by developing a relationship between all parties involved and with a large number of one- and two-man teams, we are able to accommodate projects of all sizes.

With the future looking bright, we are looking for an additional Painting Team Supervisor to oversee all aspects of work for a large team of Painters.

About the role

This is a challenging, senior role in which you'll constantly be busy overseeing all aspects of the teams' work. You will be visiting sites with the aim to assist staff and contractors with any technical questions, manage quality control and checking that jobs are complete.

This role requires excellent communication skills, as you will have to liaise with building supervisors, office staff, painters and contractors throughout the business. You will also be heavily involved in managing ongoing training of staff, with a focus on upskilling and Health and Safety.

You'll need to be prepared to complete any required works that will help the smooth running of projects.

About you

Having excellent painting knowledge and at least 5 years' experience is a must, you'll be someone who has genuine passion and enthusiasm for this industry and your work.

You will have project management experience, potentially through your own business and have the stamina and drive required to deliver for all of our clients on every job - this can involve after-hours calls and longer hours as and when required.

Some computer skills would be a definite advantage and you'll be someone who appreciates and adds to our great team culture.
